The aim of the project is to set up a solar power system with storage solutions in combination with micro/mini grids in order to ensure basic supply, reduce dependence on diesel, and promote regional value creation. The project serves as the basis for a rural electrification strategy in Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger, Guinea, and Gabon to connect households, schools, health centers, and local businesses to the power grid.
