The WSSL SOLAR STREET LIGHT works without sensors or motion detectors, but uses internal traffic situation recognition with individually selectable lighting scenarios. This ensures maximum traffic safety even under extreme climatic conditions - without dark phases or system failures.

WSSL80-60-02 (Standard)
The WSSL Solar Street Light WSSL80-60-02 is a versatile standard module with two high-performance LED light modules. It meets almost all requirements for street lighting and public areas. It can be flexibly adapted in terms of lighting equipment, output and design. It therefore meets individual requirements. Whether for wide streets, narrow paths or squares - the modular system offers reliable, sustainable lighting solutions even in extreme weather and climatic conditions - without dark phases and without sensors and motion detectors that are prone to faults.
The WSSL80-60-02 consists of two high-quality Stradella IP-16-T2 M lens array modules with T2 optics, specially developed for precise light control and high efficiency in public lighting systems for pedestrian paths (class P) and roads (class M).

High-quality optics: Stradella IP-16-T2 M module ensures uniform light distribution with a medium beam angle thanks to the T2 optics.

ULOR=0: Asymmetrical distribution at the bottom, sides and front reduces light emissions for the benefit of people and animals.
Cost efficiency: Compact design enables high light density despite small size; installation costs are reduced.

The light source - optimized for people and the environment
The WSSL uses a directional light source with integrated control options that allow the light to be precisely directed. This targeted light control significantly reduces glare and minimizes the risk of glare due to the extreme point luminance of the LEDs. As a result, the system helps to reduce disruptive light emissions and sustainably reduce the environmental impact on people, animals and insects. The Stradella IP-16-T2 PC module is ideal for all public areas such as streets, footpaths, public squares and parks.
Alignment of the light source
WSSL is equipped with a light source with directional light and light control options. This light control enables extensive glare control of the light source and reliably prevents the otherwise inherent glare caused by the extreme point luminance of the individual LEDs.
This directional light source therefore also effectively prevents environmentally harmful light pollution for people, animals and insects.
The WSSL SOLAR STREET LIGHT system uses six individually adaptable lighting profiles that are tailored to the respective traffic requirements at dusk and at night. Instead of conventional sensors and motion detectors, this solution provides continuous, energy-efficient lighting throughout the night. This increases safety on roads and sidewalks - reliably, sustainably and independently of the power supply.
The WSSL solar panel of the latest efficiency generation
Monocrystalline PV modules (182 mm PERC cells) + high-performance battery storage for maximum efficiency.
The new generation of monocrystalline PV modules reduces internal resistance, heat losses and increases energy conversion. In strong sunshine, 34 cells (2×17) with 10 multi-busbars deliver higher electricity yield; cell efficiency >23.1 %. Finer busbars, smaller gaps and copper lines improve performance even in poor light.
Single-pane safety glass with weather-resistant coating provides reliable protection against dust, rain and snow. TÜV-certified in accordance with IEC61215/IEC61730. Performance guarantee up to 10 years at 90 %, up to 25 years at 80 %.
The storage system uses cylindrical LiFePO4 cells with capacities of 40 Ah, 60 Ah and, on request, 80 Ah. Integrated, intelligent control, charging and discharging electronics ensure fully automatic operation over long periods of time. The advanced battery system uses an efficient BMS that optimizes charging and cell service life: More than 3,000 charge cycles at 80% DOD and over 5,000 cycles at 70% DOD, providing a service life of 15 to 20 years. The open, compact design promotes heat dissipation, increases energy efficiency and facilitates maintenance, inspection and adjustments to the unit.

Whether expanding existing systems with additional energy-efficient LED modules to illuminate large areas or adapting to different requirements using lens arrays with different beam geometries - the WSSL system can be customized.
